About Us
OUR HISTORY
The Eco-shoreline project was started in 2016, led by Professor Kenneth M.Y. Leung, and Dr Janet Chan -
both of whom envision increasing the biodiversity and ecological functioning of Hong Kong's marine coastlines.
OUR MISSION
The Eco-Shoreline Project aims to protect Tropical Hong Kong's coastlines from degradation, human reclamation and climate change. Our team of researchers are dedicated to the development, design and implementation of ecologically engineered features to ensure coastal ecosystems not only survive but thrive in the future.
